This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 am–2:30 pm. We went for lunch buffet it was $20 per person. Was somewhat underwhelming. Tandoori chicken was dry and naan were stale and cold. Some naan looked like they had garlic on them but no flavor. Lamb vindaloo was very good. Tender, large pieces of meat and no gamey smell. Chicken tikka masala was good too. It was odd that they had sambar but no idli or vada. No biryani no pulao only white rice. Usually buffets have two sweet dishes they only had gajar halva, no kheer, no rasmalai, no gulab jamun. I think because it’s run by Nepalis they aren’t as familiar with Indian food norms and standards. It’s quite alright but nothing like what you’d get in LA or OC for a much lower price.

Came here for dinner and can honestly say the food here is amazing! The food is so flavorful. It is on the pricey side but I totally think it's worth it. Nice portions and even had left overs! We came here for dinner and the atmosphere was nice and mellow, the staff was attentive and overall it was a nice experience. Lots of vegetarian options and plenty of parking!

Went to this place back to back in a row while we’re visiting Goleta. Since we had hotel credit for American food, might as well splurge on something different within the Hotel vicinity. Everything was delicious. We had Paneer Puri for the first time and it was great. The servers we had for both days are polite, helpful and friendly. Easy to park around the area and free. Great experience overall.

If you're in the area, this is a decent spot for Indian food. The lunch buffet's pretty meat-heavy β€” I only saw two veg options. That said, the food's tasty! Evening dinner was hit-or-miss: Chaat was meh (paapdi could've been crispier), but Kofta was good. Garlic naans and tandoori roti were well done! Service was slow-ish early on β€” they skipped my Masala chai, guess I'll try again next time.

I had an amazing meal at Masala, the food is great and the service is top notch. Chef Rajesh is hands down the best, I met him and could instantly tell the passion he has for cooking authentic Indian food. If you are in Goleta or on your way to Santa Barbara, this place is worth stopping by.
